Working Principle of COG Dot Matrix Screen

Leave a message

The working principle of dot matrix screen is mainly to display the required pattern or text by controlling the light and dark of multiple small dots. These small dots are usually composed of LED lamp beads, arranged in a matrix form of multiple rows and columns. By controlling the light and dark of these LED lamp beads, different patterns or texts can be formed. Specifically:

The basic working principle of dot matrix screen is realized by controlling rows and columns. Each row and each column is connected to the control circuit, and the control circuit can be used to selectively activate specific rows or columns, so that the corresponding LED lamp beads light up or go out.

In practical applications, the display of dot matrix screen is realized by scanning line by line. This means that the first row is activated first, then the second row, and so on until the last row. The activation of each row can form a row of bright LED lamp beads, and by quickly scanning all rows, a continuous image or text can be formed visually.

The dynamic display of dot matrix screen also utilizes the principle of visual persistence, that is, by quickly refreshing the screen content, the human eye can continue to see dynamic or static images instead of a series of static images.
