When using LCM, you need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Installation
The installation of the LCD module is to assemble it to the equipment and instrument used using the mounting holes on the PCB. Because the display screen inside the module is composed of two very thin pieces of glass, it is very easy to damage. Therefore, special care should be taken during installation and application.
2. Cleaning of the module
When cleaning the module, use a soft cloth to dip a little solvent (recommended as follows) and wipe it gently.
·Isopropyl alcohol
·Ethanol
Avoid scrubbing the display surface with dry or hard objects to avoid damaging the polarizer.
Do not use the following solvents:
·Water
·Ketones
·Aromatic compounds
3. Prevent static electricity
The driver IC used on the LCD module is a C-MOS large-scale integrated circuit. Therefore, do not connect any unused input terminals to VDD or Vss, do not input any signals to the module before the power is turned on, and ground the operator's body, workbench, and assembly table. The installation equipment needs to prevent static electricity.
4. Packaging
The LCD module should avoid severe vibration or falling from a high place.
To prevent module aging, avoid working or storing in direct sunlight or in high temperature and high humidity environments.
