The 128x32 COB LCD module developed by Bolong LCD is a highly reliable graphic display solution designed specifically for industrial and embedded applications. Two interface options on the same FPC: I²C uses only two pins SDA and SCL, while SPI uses three pins, selectable by a resistor jumper.
Multiple power-down modes: display off, sleep, and deep sleep with RAM retention, allowing the microcontroller to turn off the LCD between readings.
Built-in charge pump can be disabled to save power when using 3.3V supply, reducing total current by an additional 15 microamps.
The COB encapsulation uses a low-capacitance epoxy that reduces parasitic loading on the I²C bus, enabling longer cable runs up to 2 meters.
