Manufacturing strengths
Standard 4-wire SPI uses only 5-6 GPIO pins (CLK, MOSI, DC, CS, RST). I²C reduces to 2 data pins.
Pre-written libraries available for Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and MicroPython.
Most modules come with a 0.5mm pitch FPC and optional breakout board with 2.54mm headers for breadboard prototyping.
